From Father to Son: Carrying on a Legacy
The practice was founded by Dr. Thomas M. Cleary, Sr., in the 1970’s on a foundation of compassion and personal relationships, valuing the connection he had with each patient.
Dentistry wasn’t my first career path. Spending a summer assisting my father in the practice gave me a deeper appreciation for the connections he built with patients. It wasn’t just about fixing teeth—it was about understanding people and supporting their health over a lifetime. In 2008, I joined the practice, continuing my father’s legacy while bringing my own perspective to patient care.
A Practice Built on Relationships
At Cleary Family Dentistry, our patients are more than just appointments—they’re part of our extended family. Over the years, we’ve built deep connections within our community, treating multiple generations of the same families. Many of our patients have been with us for years, returning because of the trust and relationships we’ve built together. Our new patients are usually referrals from existing patients.
For us, dentistry is not just about procedures—it’s about providing care in a way that makes people feel valued and understood. The best dental care happens when patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their choices.

Beyond the office, we remain committed to our towns through community involvement and outreach. From coaching sports teams to serving the residents of the Hampshire County Jail & House of Correction, being a member of the Hampshire Regional High School, school committee, and engaging with local organized dentistry, I believe in actively participating in our community.
